About this route
Start from the turnoff to Valle de la Barranca on the road ascending to Navacerrada. The asphalt ends quickly and you start tough ramps among pines. At a right turn, the Ortiz path branches off in the opposite direction. It is a narrow trail through bearberry and rockrose. After a few kilometers, you return to the main track. At the summit, another trail allows you to advance a bit further uphill. Return via the track.
