The route leads over little-traveled paved country roads; only the town passages in Krümmel, Drosedow, and Seewalde feature cobblestones. Partially, there are also bike paths (still in good condition) available. In Canow, a former East German cycling champion (Mr. Straube) runs the local 'Zur Schleuse'. Definitely worth a visit! Road cyclists should take the route from Canow to Wesenberg via Wustrow, or alternatively via Drosedow-Seewalde to Wesenberg.
