Schöne Sonntagstour vom kleinen Odenwald bis an den Main

Beginning in Trienz at the inn zur Linde. From here, over the Trienzbach towards Sportpalz. At the end of the road, an unpaved ascending forest path leads to the hiking trail. From here, it is either asphalted or gravel. Follow the hiking trail to Mudau (well marked, only short stretches on the main road in Krumbach and Laudenberg, otherwise mostly in the forest). From Mudau along the main road to Steinbach. In the center of the village, turn left toward Beuchen (asphalted municipal connection road that is very lightly used). Beautiful elevated path through the woods. In Beuchen, a bit to the center of the village, then left towards Amorbach (gravel). Up until just before Amorbach, along the ridge, passing a chapel, then a steep descent to Amorbach with a wonderful view of the town. Here, turn left past the monastery church and through the old town. At the intersection, cross the federal road and the railroad tracks toward Weilbach (low traffic main road along the tracks). From here, continue in the valley through the village and past the sports field to Breitendiel (asphalted road). From Breitendiel, a short stretch to the left of the tracks, then cross an unguarded level crossing, and from here back to gravel until just before Miltenberg. From here, on the main road and into Miltenberg. (Where of course the car will be ready for the trip home / Only the hardiest ride back. (Because there is a lot of uphill to get home.)
