Tour zur Silbermühle CLONED FROM ROUTE 35985

Short but sometimes challenging tour!

The start is at Sternschanze. First, you take the road (alternatively, you can also ride parallel to the road in the forest) to Bielstein. Follow along Bielstein towards Eichenallee. At a large clearing (on the right is a barrier) turn left towards Vogelpark. Follow this path up to an intersection. At the intersection, turn right. From here on, you initially always follow the hiking trail X10. This leads over a beautiful single trail above Hermannsweg. At the end of the single trail, you come back out on a gravel forest road. From here, follow the A4/X10 again until you reach an intersection. The A4 now goes left and you stay straight on the X10. Ride down X10 for quite a distance, then turn left into A1. Follow A1 for about 1 km, then it goes right onto A2. Follow this and you'll come out at the top of Gausekote. Cross Gausekote and ride left. Here, there is a long downhill stretch (caution, it can be very slippery as there are nasty stones covered with moss). Upon arriving at the bottom, keep left and follow the path to "Große Egge". Once at the top, there is a sign. Take the path slightly to the left (the road) and ride down to the end (you'll come out at the parking lot opposite Waldschlösschen). Turn right and immediately again at a slight angle left, then cross the road to Altenbeken and go straight up (to Wesertal-Häuschen) then turn left. Follow the path and you'll inevitably arrive at Silbermühle.
