About this route
Die Runde beginnt und endet am Parkplatz der Kranzbergbahn (Straße fürs Navi: "Am Kalvarienberg"!) Es geht zuerst nach Süden durch Mittenwald hindurch. Am Südende von Mittenwald kommt scharf rechts die Abzweigung Richtung Leutasch. Auf dieser Straße zweigt man nach ca. 300 Metern ab Richtung Schloßhotel Ellmau. Von dort geht es hinunter nach Klais und von Klais auf einem schönen Radweg Richtung Westen nach Gerold zum Geroldsee (bzw. Wagenbrüchsee). Von dort führt ein teils sehr steiniger Schotterweg weiter zum Barmsee. Dabei ist wegen eines sehr starken Gefälles eine ca. 200 m lange Schiebestrecke zu überwinden. Am Barmsee unten angekommen, verläuft der Weg weiter bis nach Wallgau hinein, dem nördlichsten Punkt der Tour. Zurück geht es durch die Ortschaft Krün, weiter über die Buckelwiesen, vorbei am Schmalensee und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt "Parkplatz Kranzbergbahn".
