About This Route

Tour Nr. 50 im EMTB-Führer:   Ausgangspunkt und Endpunkt ist der gebührenpflichtige ( 2.-€ ) Parkplatz des Seestrandes in Thiersee. Die Tour führt zuerst vom See weg in Richtung Süden. Die ersten 2,5 km sind dabei teilweise extrem steil und grobschottrig! Danach geht es auf steilen aber angenehmen Forstwegen weiter hinauf bis zur Kala Alm (1360 m) und von dort bis zum Zielpunkt Pendlinghaus (1537 m). Von hier hat man einen sagenhaften, phantastischen Rundumblick in alle Richtungen.  Der Rückweg verläuft bis in die Nähe von Kaltwasser gleich und dann auf einer nördlich ausgerichteten Route zurück nach Thiersee und dort auf einem kleinen, schmalen Wanderweg am See entlang zurück zum Parkplatz. Übrigens: Liegegebühr am Strand des Thiersees 3.- €
