Über Weiher und Woog in das Pfeifertal

We start at the village square of Olsbrück, cross the B270 at the traffic light, and follow the bike path towards Kaiserslautern, passing the sports club, then crossing the B270 again and following the bike path next to the road. It takes us past Sulzbachtal until we reach Hirschhorn. Here we ride through the village on B 270.

Leaving Hirschhorn, the bike path starts again, and we leave the entrance to the village of Katzweiler on our left and turn right at the sheep mill, then immediately left next to the Lauter onto the bike path. We ride past the landscape pond and turn at the village center onto B270.

Behind Katzweiler up to Sambach we are back on the bike path and leave the federal road in Otterbach towards Erfenbach (to the right). At the spinning mill, we turn left, go straight ahead and pass the Kaiserslautern sewage treatment plant. Here we continue straight across and slightly uphill under the highway, then immediately right towards Blechhammer-Weiher.

We keep this beautiful path until just past Vogelwoog. We go under the fast road; to the left, it goes slightly uphill into the forest, then on asphalt the old road to Siegelbach. Before the village, we turn left into the forest path towards the zoo.

Behind the zoo (on the back side of the fence that visitors normally see from the other side) down, turn left, and then, coming onto the asphalt, turn right.

The home of the Rodenbach dog club remains on the right (if we are not thirsty or hungry), the descent into the village happens quickly.

In the curve, we take the first path on the right, past the village well and playground to the left. The big tree sends us to the right and immediately left. We go straight ahead, past the water station, crossing the road until we reach the brick kiln.

The car road is crossed straight ahead and we turn right onto the bike path. This takes us all the way to the road to Eulenbis. It is crossed, the sawmill area is driven through, and at the lower Pfeifermühle we meet the car road towards Hirschhorn again.

In Hirschhorn we turn left onto B 270, then take the bike path to Olsbrücken.
