De twee na hoogste top van de Vogezen, gelegen aan de legendarische Route des Crêtes. Met een uitkijkpunt dat met de fiets bereikbaar is na een zeer stijle laatste twee kilometer. Hierna wordt je wel beloond met één van de mooiste uitzichten in de Vogezen!

Hoewel de Hohneck ook via de Col de la Schlucht te bereiken is, gaat deze route via de beklimming van de Route des Américains.
