Ab Parkplatz Kohlplatte (72631 Aich) durch das schöne Aichtal in Richtung Waldenbuch. Bei der Burkhardtsmühle abzweigen in Richtung Musberg (Leinfelden-Echterdingen). Die Strecke führt auf einer ehemaligen Bahntrasse bequem durch das Siebenmühlental. Bei dem Wanderparkplatz unter einem Viadukt (bei Musberg) führt ein Weg zur Eselsmühle die zum Rasten einlädt. Auf dem Rückweg zum Ausgangspunkt lohnt ein Abstecher nach Waldenbuch zur Schokoladenfabrik Ritter Sport mit Cafe und Museum.
