Genuß-Tour ans Adour-Ufer und zum Marais d‘Orx

Varied tour without long climbs on the lightly trafficked country roads of the hinterland. The start and finish of the route is Labenne-Océan, but it can also be done from Capbreton and Hossegor by simply cycling on the well-signposted 'Vélodyssée / Eurovelo 5' cycle path to Labenne-Océan.

After crossing the D810, this tour leads through St. Martin de Seignanx across cornfields to the picturesque Adour riverbank and the marsh area 'Les Barthes'. On the Eurovélo 3 / Scanibérique cycle path, perfectly asphalted and completed in 2017, you pass old farms and kiwi plantations and traverse pretty small villages such as St. Barthélemy, Ste. Marie de Gosse (general store to refill 'bidons'), St. Martin de Hinx and Ugne with a good opportunity to stop at the restaurant 'Auberge d'Ugne' with a very nice garden. Afterwards, the route descends to Marais d'Orx, an artificial lake where many rare bird species have settled.

Apart from a few very short but steep climbs, the route is very flat and also recommended for families with cycling-enthusiast children.
