About This Route

Saaleradweg bis Saalfeldt wunderbar ausgebaut, einziger steiler Pieck, bei Strecke über Rudelsburg. Grober und steiniger Aufstieg.

Ab Saalfeld Richtung Rennsteig, sehr bergig ansteigend mit Radwegführung über Landstraße und Forstwege. Mit Hundeanhänger (Leergewicht ca.17kg) sehr fordernd und anstrengend. Ab Hohenwartestausee vermehrt schiebend. Teilweise 16% Steigung und mehr. Blankenstein (anstieg extrem) mit Busverbindung überbrückt. Campingplatzempfehlung für Jena! "Unter dem Jenzig"
