About this route
Anfangs kleine Strassen, dann der Küstenstrasse entlang. Übersetzen mit der Fähre von Laredo nach Santonia (1,50 € mit Fahrrad). Dort wartet schönster Strand.
Der erste Teil bis Bilbao hat uns landschaftlich sehr gut gefallen.
Bilbao ist auch sehr interessant, sehr mondän.
Danach geht es der Steilküste mit ihren Sandbuchten entlang und entsprechend steil bergauf und bergab. Es war eine unserer anstrengendsten Abschnitte. Ab Bilbao gibt es auch mehr Verkehr.
