Eisernes Tor / Hoher Lindkogel

The loop - primarily created for 'cautious' E-Bikers, so without single trails and similar - starts and ends at the VIVEA health hotel. It first leads up to the Bad Vöslau spa park and from there via Oberkirchengasse towards Gainfarn to Merkensteiner Straße, continues westward and eventually leads onto the state road L407. Here you drive 'unfortunately' about 6 km on this L407, which is very wide and well-developed, until the turnoff to Rohrbach and from there further north. Near Zobelhof, the route branches off to the right towards the east onto a wide forest path. This path is occasionally very stony and sometimes very steep, ultimately leading up to the 'Eisernes Tor' shelter. Here you have the option to stop at the inn or climb the tower. From the top, you have a spectacular, almost breathtaking view of the entire surrounding area. The return journey is about 1.5 km back along the same route. Then you turn right and ride down on a partly very rocky but wide forest path to Helenental. From there, you go on the beautiful 'Helenental Cycle Path' to Baden and via Sooß back to the starting point in Bad Vöslau.
