First stage of the planned tour Montana - Diva Slatina - Długi Del - Montana.

Characteristics:

The route is entirely on asphalt, with a constant, relatively gentle climb. Riding is at a lower speed but steady. It gets steeper towards the end, after Diva Slatina.

Outbound - steady and relaxed riding, 4-5 stops.

Return - up to the village of Gavril Genovo, the difficulty of the constant climb on the way out becomes an advantage. Riding is mostly by inertia or with light pedaling (without noticeable effort) while maintaining a fairly good speed. Once you reach the Montana - Chiprovtsi road, descents and climbs alternate. If you encounter high heat, approaching the Ogosta reservoir makes the ride tougher.

At the end of the road there is a nice place to camp - a fountain, river, stone fireplace, gazebos, small clearing. Possibly a place to stay overnight before the second stage Biala Slatina - Długi Del via mountain roads.
