Zum großen Stein

Beautiful forest trail with many great stopping points. Many benches inviting you to rest; the crossing of the B54 and the subsequent forks allowing for individual route planning.

The first four kilometers are only uphill, tiring over bumpy forest paths, then a nice straight stretch through the woods and a clearing.

There are many branches in all directions and surrounding villages, so the route is very variable and can be expanded at will.

The return journey starts very quickly with a fast descent. Just before entering the town, you have to turn left and then keep to the right. This way you can return via a wonderful "adventure path", above Lützeln, back on the bike path towards Holzhausen.

Almost 10 km, 183 meters of altitude, my first time, relatively leisurely 40 min.
