Pfaffenweiler - Schwärzenbach - Linach

Start in VS-Pfaffnweiler. You ride to Villingen, then into the flat and quiet Groppertal. From Groppertal, you head to Stockwald, where the gradient steadily increases, but there is very little traffic. Once at the top, follow the road to Schönwald and enjoy the elevation. In Schönwald, turn right towards Triberg. After about 2 km, turn left towards Schwärzenbach. You cycle through an idyllic High Black Forest landscape on a small road through Schwärzenbach, then Weißenbach. At the top, turn left on the paved road towards Katzensteig - a steep descent follows on a narrow road - caution. The road leads into Furtwangen. In Furtwangen, take the B500 towards Titisee... Before leaving the town, turn right towards Linach. Now follow the road. There is a steep climb and then a wonderful descent through the Linach valley - the section from the dam is also newly paved! On the L 180, ride towards Wolterdingen until you turn left to Zindelstein. Then comes Tannheim, you ride through Tannheim and towards VS-Pfaffenweiler, the cycle path to the left of the road is good to ride.
