About this route
A boundary experience in two ways: The overall course of 17 km involves overcoming 340 meters of elevation, and for large parts, the tour runs along the border between Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate. Through the Holzbachtal nature reserve, the route follows the stream on a path through the woods. Here begins the demanding ascent of about 10 km. From approximately 360 m NN, the route continuously climbs to Teufelskopf at about 700 NN. The landscape alternates between dense coniferous and mixed forests and open sections. After a round around Teufelskopf, a long descent of 5 km can be enjoyed!
