About This Route

Day 1 of a 3 day C2C route starting in St Bees and along route 71 to just past Keswick. It then leaves route 71 to go cross country towards Ulswater and onto the village of Pooley Bridge. About half bicycle tracks and half road. 51 miles/82km/1240m of ascent

It is possible to follow the sign to Soulby and then pass through the campsite on the public footpath, but the A592 isn't that busy and you'll only be on it for a couple of minutes.
