Oberau - Diesbar-Seußlitz - Meißen - Oberau

A beautiful route through the right bank highland of the Elbe near Meißen. Starting from the municipal swimming pool in Oberau, then through Böhla to Kirchberg Wantewitz, a magical place due to the fantastic panoramic view of the Meißen-Dresden region. Then downhill into the Elbe Valley to the baroque palace of Diesbar-Seußlitz, which the current owner has let fall into ruin for the past 20 years. From there we continue to Meißen, where the Albrecht Castle, illuminated in the evening, looks particularly impressive. Through Niederau, a holiday resort from my school days, back to the starting point in Oberau.
