Ansedonia - Porto Ercole - Cosa - Ansedonia

Family outing to another beautiful, sandy beach. The route runs along the peninsula on a gravel road through a pine forest. About 3 km descent to the sea. Then I ride alone to the end of the peninsula to see the town of Porto Ercole. I view it from a distance, however, as I turn back to the beach. From there we ride together to the ruins of the ancient city of Cosa. Worth it - in some places eight-meter walls still stand... We also attempt to reach the sea on the other side of Ansedonia and because of the heat and steep climbs we turn back towards the parked vehicle.
