About this route
After the long climb, you can enjoy some gentle ups and downs along the 'Rote Kreuz Weg'. Just before the descent into Grasellenbach, you'll pass the Siegfriedbrunnen fountain. After the very steep descent, it continues on the well-maintained bike path to Wald-Michelbach, passing Wahlen, Affolterbach, and Aschbach. Unfortunately, the last six kilometres have to be covered on the narrow main road towards Schönmattenwag. (Duration approx. 1-2 hours for 'once-a-week riders' :) )
