Burgblick kurz (Mattersburg-Forchtenstein-retour)

Start: Florianihof

following the bike path

Variant 1 turn left

and cross the stream (Wulka), bike path to Forchtenstein, turn left at the cemetery and climb the mountain.

Variant 2 continue straight

(Note: Route KK Compact and Crunchy) at the place 'Lore Schreiner Mühle' turn right into the woods, past the castle and turn left off the path.

Variant 3 (Note: with TE training session)

only possible if Variant 1 was chosen beforehand. Before the place 'zum Nega' turn left to climb the short incline towards Wiesen and follow the ridge with a view of the castle until you reach the federal road.

Recommended: nice singletrail that is completely covered by the forest and thus protects from rain.

Particularities:

Great view of the castle from different sides (combined with the TE route)

Singletrail is always nice and cool
