Cultura e natura nella Terra dei Tiepolo (da Salzano)

Our day cycling will begin in Salzano, in the Land of the Tiepolo. The town offers cyclists interesting sightseeing opportunities, starting with the 16th-century Villa Donà dalle Rose, now the seat of the Salzano Municipality. At the end of the 19th century, the villa belonged to the Padua family Romanin-Jacur, who in 1872 built the historic city Spinning Mill whose museum houses materials and machinery related to mulberry cultivation, sericulture, and spinning. Next to the two structures is the vast Romanin-Jacur park that hosts dense vegetation. Our bike ride will continue through the peaceful countryside to the Martellago Pond Park, a true green lung in the Land of the Tiepolo.
