Straßberghaus

The route begins at a somewhat hidden parking lot on the B189 (Miemingerstraße) between Telfs and Affenhausen: you turn off here from Telfs to the right towards Gerhardshof but already after about 50 m turn left and after about 250 m you reach a parking lot, which is ultimately also the destination of this route. From here you head towards Gerhardshof towards Telfs, going through Telfs (Caution: GPS navigation is a little difficult to 'understand' here!!!) in a northern direction steeply uphill to the district of Lehen. From there, you go continuously uphill on the Straßenberg path to the Straßenberg inn (1191 m). During my tour this year to the Straßenberghaus, on June 6, 2022, Pentecost Monday, the inn was unfortunately already closed. According to insider information, it is unfortunately supposed to remain closed forever!!! I really hope that it was a 'fake' report! Such a shame for this gem! Despite this sad news, from there you then ride south on a forest road down to Wildermieming. From the village street, you turn southeast onto the 'Unterfeld' path and pass by the Wildermieming recycling center to return to the destination, the parking lot described at the beginning.
