Sightseeingtour Badersleben

From Hornburg, the route goes through the 'Große Bruch' heading east to the former border crossing Mattierzoll. Within sight are the remnants of the border installations. The route then follows the Harzvorland Cycle Path and the scenic Castles and Palaces Cycle Path, passing Rohrsheim and continuing to the 'Wasserschloss Westerburg.' The journey continues along the Castles Cycle Path to Badersleben, where approximately the 30 km mark is reached.

Those who register in advance with the Küchenmeister family can be guided through the beautifully restored and operational watermill. Additionally, the unique and curious veterinary museum can be visited. Homemade cake with fresh coffee at the Küchenmeister family’s place following the tour is a must!
