Vom Südtor des Frankenwaldes zum Döbraberg

The route to Döbraberg, the highest elevation of the Franconian Forest, can be chosen shorter. You can almost exclusively use the Readweg next to the B 173 up to Überkehr. From Überkehr, you can follow the B 173 (lots of traffic!) or you can go via Schwarzenbach/W.. If you use the B 173, you go until Straßdorf, then take a small side road via Culmitz towards Marlesreuth and continue to Döbra. At the exit of Döbra, you then turn right towards the cross-country skiing center of Upper Franconia on the 785 m high Döbraberg. The route is chosen deliberately a bit longer for training purposes.
