Feierabend-Runde 1

The route leads via the small gravel pond to the former border path in the Spandau Forest up to the Eiskeller. There, you turn left towards Schönwalde and at the second intersection turn left again onto Eichenallee. You follow this until the end, then turn left again onto Straße der Jugend and shortly after that, turn left again onto the federal road towards Falkensee. Upon reaching Falkensee, you avoid the heaviest traffic by turning left again onto Beethovenallee immediately after entering the town, following the street parallel to Falkenhagener See. Later, the street name changes to Humboldtallee. Following this route, you arrive at Spandauer Straße. However, I turn left on a cross street before that to use the pedestrian crossing near the supermarket. From there, you could follow Spandauer Straße or, as marked, take a detour through the former concentration camp satellite camp and approach the small gravel pond from behind.

By the way, the GoogleMaps aerial photo is not current. The path I marked from the end of the gravel pond, where you turn right and cross Falkenseer Chaussee, was newly constructed and is fully paved. 95% of the route is paved and only short sections - e.g., near the concentration camp - are gravel.

Apart from a few smaller tricky climbs on the former border path, the route is as flat as Holland.
