Römer-Lippe-Route

The Römer-Lippe Route follows in the footsteps of the Romans from the Hermannsdenkmal monument in the Teutoburg Forest through Münsterland to Xanten on the Lower Rhine. Highlights include the Hermannsdenkmal, the Roman Park in Bergkamen, the Roman Museum in Haltern am See, and the Archaeological Park in Xanten. Always in view is the Lippe River. The river flows through a splendid natural landscape with partly distinct floodplain areas.
