Lindenallee 5, Schlitz nach Damenweg 4, Schlitz

The route mainly runs on paved paths, some of which are part of an old railway track. The tour starts in Schlitz and follows the Schlitz river to Bad Salzschlirf, where a short detour to the spa park is recommended. The tour then continues towards Lauterbach, following the Lauter river through beautiful landscapes. Passing by the ruins of Angersbach Castle, the route continues towards Lauterbach. In Angersbach, the route diverges from the Lauterbach path and returns along the other side of the Lauter back to Bad Salzschlirf. From there, it rejoins the R7 route heading back to the starting point in Schlitz. The climbs are rather moderate and manageable.
