Etappe 2a: Stendal nach Alte Ölmühle Wittenberge

Start: Hauptbahnhof Stendal. On the way, you should enjoy the historic town center of Arneburg and a splendid view of the Elbe valley. Then it continues through the green Elbe landscape of the Altmark. Havelberg belongs to one of the oldest dioceses east of the Elbe. The Romanesque-Gothic cathedral already shows the way to the Elbe town of Havelberg from afar. Through the wide landscape of the Prignitz, you will cycle along levee paths by the Elbe. On the way, you will arrive at Rühstädt, the village with the highest number of storks in Germany. The destination is the Elbe town of Wittenberge located in the Prignitz.
