About this route
Die Tour beginnt in Eisenstadt, führt dann entlang der Dörfer der Grenzregion hinauf zum Sieggrabener Sattel, dem ersten Anstieg der Rundfahrt. Weiter geht es dann nach Weppersdorf und Markt St.Martin, wo es heißt, Kraft zu sammeln für den Anstieg bei Landsee hinauf zum Pauliberg (jüngster erloschenener Vulkan Österreichs). Am Hochplateau geht es dann weiter nach Wiesmath, Hochwolkersdorf und Rosalia bis endlich die herrliche Abfahrt nach Forchtenstein, vorbei an der gleichnamigen Burg, die Strapazen der vergangenen Stunden vergessen lässt. Über Mattersburg, Pöttelsdorf und Wulkaprodersdorf führt die Tour wieder flach zurück nach Eisenstadt.
