Šic na Bic 2015. - Biciklom preko brda, da bi guza bila tvrda!

On Saturday morning, June 27, the traditional Novomarof bike ride ‘Šic na bic’ began. This is the tenth anniversary organized by the youth association ‘Mladi za Marof’.

The slogan for this year’s bike ride, designed for better motivation of potential cyclists, is ‘Bicycle over hills, to keep the buttocks firm!’. At 10 o’clock, the mayor of Novi Marof, Siniša Jenkač, signaled the start of the race. The route of this year’s bike ride first leads to Madžarevo, then through Donji Makojišć to Breznički Hum. From Hum, it continued through Radešić towards Vinično and through Kračevec reached Visoko, where lunch was organized for all cyclists at LD ‘Jareb’. On the way back, the route leads through Đurinovec and Sudovec and, through Kipišće, returns in the afternoon to Novi Marof. ‘Šic na bic’ has become one of the most famous recreational bike rides in northwestern Croatia in recent years, gathering over two hundred cyclists ready for forty kilometers of enjoyment on two wheels throughout the beautiful landscape around Novi Marof and the surrounding towns and municipalities.
