Wolfikova jezerní vyhlídka

The Lausitzer Seenland region around former open-pit mines (now flooded) offers opportunities for cycling or inline skating amid lakes, sandy beaches, and pine groves.

The start is at the parking lot near the sailing marina, just beyond the village of Geierswalde.

The asphalt bike path mostly runs between forest/thickets and lakes. Beyond the village of Kleinkoschen, inline skaters face a somewhat unpleasant approximately 1.5 km stretch along a regular road.

The trail is marked with signs at important intersections; for the rest of the route, rely on your common sense and sense of direction (and a map that fairly corresponds to reality).

If you ride in August, lots of blackberries and blueberries await you along the route :).

Even in the middle of the season, the paths are peaceful and basically empty.
