About this route
Nice loop if you don't have much time: From the clinic district through Nordstadt and Fredenbaumpark to the canal, always along (sometimes very idyllic) until the A2 motorway bridge (okay, not so idyllic, the noise). Here back via the Emscher Weg, past the harbor heading towards Westpark. Outside the city mostly along unpaved roads or farm paths, a lot of greenery, a lot of water. Nice and flat.
