Onesti-targ ocna -pargaresti-oituz-poiana sarata-slanic-targ ocna-onesti The section from targ ocna to pargaresti-oituz (road 116) has recently been asphalted and is interesting with its climbs and descents. The traffic is very light. The forest road that connects poiana sarata to slanic (approx 16 km) climbs in hairpins in half and descends in the other half. I covered it with a trekking bike with full panniers and suffered. A MTB is needed. For offroad enthusiasts, it can be a paradise. I don’t know exactly the altitude at which it reaches, but I estimate it to be around 800-900 m.
