The route is quite tiring because it has relatively a lot of elevation gain. However, the sweat is compensated by the diverse mountain scenery and the well-deserved ice-cold beer in Dobogókő. The route runs entirely on paved roads, partly on public roads and mostly on forestry roads. The quality of the road is quite poor in places, and there are sections where water run-offs have washed gravel and dirt onto the road. Special care is needed, especially on descents. Nevertheless, it is also easily navigable with a racing bike.
