Route suitable for e-bikes: You reach by asphalt the agricultural road starting at 1060 meters after the settlement of Fabbrica in the direction of Monte Dego. Upon reaching the refuge, the trail begins with frequent climbs and descents passing under the slopes of Monte Oramara to become a wide dirt track that quickly descends to the refuge of Foppiano. After passing the refuge, a long trail begins that sequentially passes through the passes of Vallersone, Ertola, Esola, Gifarco, and Fante, in a series of continuous ups and downs with some sections requiring pushing the bike due to ground deterioration caused by rains, ending with a fast and fun descent to the Fregarolo Pass and the trattoria below (e-bike charging point and excellent refreshment spot). Leaving the trattoria, descend along the road for a couple of kilometers, then take a right onto a small path representing the 'Ancient road of Chiavari' which enters the forest and slightly climbs to a hill where a wooden sign indicates 'Fontanigorda'. The descent should be approached cautiously due to the uneven ground and some fallen trees, ending in the square of Fontanigorda. Nearly at the exit of the village on the Casanova side, descend left along a secondary road which soon becomes a dirt agricultural road and continuously loses altitude until reaching a gate; after passing it, continue for a few hundred meters to access a meadow area that (barely visible) leads into the underlying forest characterized by two steep dirt slopes descending to ford a stream. After crossing the ford, the trail is clearer and climbs up to the hairpin bend of the road to Loco where the route ends.
