Very beautiful route! The vast majority is through the forest. Some sections, relatively small, are on gravel, and asphalt is only at the start and finish, approximately 6 km. In Sasenii Vechi, I took a little detour to the village store.

The ascents are difficult and long, but you recover with the superb descents. Be careful on the fast descents, with branches, ruts, turns, etc. The last section of descent through the forest, just before entering the asphalt road, DC193, is technical. That is, there are quite long sections with a steep slope that heat the brakes, but also with ruts and turns. And on the asphalt, downhill, you gain a very high speed to Sarata-Monteoru.

In July 2021, I found many branches on the trail, through the forest, and some unused sections from last year (about 2 km) made the route unrecognizable.

In summer, protect yourself from mosquitoes and the sun.
