[RT] Alcala Parque Nat. - Santos - Alcala Parque Nat.

Circular route starting and ending at the parking lot of the Natural Park of Alcalá de Henares, reaching Santos de la Humosa and returning via the path that runs alongside the Henares River to finish again at the parking lot of the Natural Park.

1. From the parking lot, we will start the so-called Green Route until we reach the Alto de los Reventones (736m), this entire stretch is done with a continuous ascent.

2. Without leaving the path we are on, we will leave the ravine (not suitable for people with vertigo) to our left and cultivated land to the right, until we begin to descend.

3. At the end of the descent, we will encounter a crossroads, the Portillo de Anchuelo. At this point, we can re-enter the Natural Park and its inner trails via the Camino de la Barca (to our left).

4. We will continue along the path in front, the Colada del Camino de la Barca, an easy, flat and mistake-free path until we reach the crossing of the AVE bridge.

5. Once we reach the AVE bridge, we will take a path that branches off to our left, the Colada del Abrevadero, starting a small ascent.

6. More or less at 1.5 km, we will take the path that branches off to our right since if we continue, the path becomes rough and almost impassable, it is a ravine full of trails and reeds.

7. We will continue ascending until we reach Santos where we will begin the descent.

8. The last part of the route is quite simple: flat and paved sections, the Camino de la Esgaravita until we enter the bank of the Henares River.

9. We will continue until the parking lot of the Natural Park to end our route.
