From Klopein, the route goes through the village of St. Marxen and the Völkermarkt Drau Bridge to the Drau Cycle Path R1. Just after the reservoir, the cycle path leaves the bank of the Drau and passes by farms, through small villages and fruit orchards until reaching Ruden. Shortly after Ruden, turn right and follow the cycle path over the large Drau Bridge. The villages of Rinkenberg, Ruttach, and Mittlern follow. About 3 km after Mittlern, it is advisable to return to Klopein via Gablern and Eberndorf, as the cycle path through Kühnsdorf is quite monotonous.
