Tierpark Hebelei

From the edge of Saxon Switzerland in Neustadt/Saxony, I visited my sister at the Elbetierpark Hebelei wildlife park. Traveling along the Elbe cycle path and experiencing the earlier mountain/valley contrast in the mid-mountain range of the starting point resulted in a very varied, idyllic, and culturally valuable route (including views of the old towns of Dresden and Meissen). After an overnight stay, the return trip took place, which can optionally be ridden on the other side of the Elbe from Meissen. As a shorter alternative, for example, a ride from Dresden to Meissen is recommended, where the Elbe cycle path can be ridden on both sides. The paths are almost continuously in excellent condition and cycling along the Elbe is very relaxing. Don't forget sunscreen!
