About this route
ITINERARIO:
Partenza da Hospental. (Appena dopo il paese c'è un bel posteggio per le auto.)
La strada è quasi pianeggiante fino a REALP, dove inizia l'ascesa verso il FURKA. Le pendenze sono costanti, tra il 6 - 9 %.
Poco dopo il valico c'è il BELVEDERE, normalmente intasato di turisti. Da qui si può accedere al ghiacciaio con grotte nel ghiaccio (a pagamento !).
La discesa è bella e veloce, buon fondo stradale, verso GLETSCH. Da qui parte anche il caratteristico trenino a vapore che risale il Furka.
Si attaccano i tornanti del GRIMSEL. Pendenze 8-10%. In vetta bel laghetto e bar.
Da qui volendo parte la deviazione per la diga di Oberardsee, che io non ho fatto.
Notevole discesona verso INNERTCKIRCHEN. Attenzione al alcune lunghe gallerie, comunque dal buon fondo stradale. Consiglio luce posteriore.
