Rota de Manutenção do PESM

Cycle tourism route Marcia Prado or as it is better known Descent of the Maintenance Road.

A descent from the mountain along the road that served as support for the construction of the first track of the Imigrantes.

An exceptional ride, with a privileged view of the Serra do Mar and viewpoints that you would never imagine when passing by car on the Imigrantes. Your climbs and descents of the mountain will never be the same again.

Requires authorization from PESM.

Requires caution if you plan to cycle to Santos. There are points to avoid as there is a risk to personal safety (theft).

Should be done in groups.

Beginner level with only two significant uphill segments where some preparation will be required.

Water from the springs along the route unsafe for consumption.

Bring a swimsuit/bikini as it may be possible to bathe in the river and under the waterfall.

Bring plenty of insect repellent.
