Kanal-Tour von Saaralbe nach Gondrexange

Before the time of RTF tours, I was on this route at least once a week. The tour is flat and easy to ride.

From Saaralbe to the start of my tour, there is loose ground, which is why I start the canal tour just behind Saaralbe.

From the start of the tour to 4 km before Mittersheim, the path for the lock keepers, where cycling is tolerated, has even been excellently prepared.

A following section is in a condition worthy of a field path. (1.5 km). Afterwards, the path to Mittersheim is okay again.

The section from Stockweiher to Gondrexange has not been in the best condition (as of 2005). Here, there are concrete slabs with higher steps to cross. Not very suitable for racing bikes.
