Route durch das Marchfeld und entlang des Marchfeldkanal

In the area of the Marchfeld Canal near Leopoldsdorf in the Marchfeld, the cycling route is attractive and also nice to ride. Before Leopoldsdorf, the route crosses the railway line from Vienna to Marchegg, where currently (July 2020) there is no official way to cross the railway, the crossing has been removed, and the new underpass is closed. A similar situation exists at the Untersiebenbrunn stop where the provisional crossing is closed and the underpass is still a construction site.

Along the entire route, there are many gravel paths to ride, which makes it somewhat strenuous.
