About This Route

Vom Ortszentrum Au geht es einige Kilometer auf der Bundesstraße Richtung Damüls/Faschina/Furkajoch. Dann folgt die Abzweigung Richtung Alpengasthof Edelweiss. Es geht durch über blühende Bergwiesen und einen kurzen Waldabschnitt. Man hält sich links immer Bergauf am Gasthof und an der Öberlealpe vorbei. Nach wenigen Metern gelangt man zur Obere Alpe. Nun folgt eine Abfahrt zur Wurzachalpe an welcher man weiter geradeaus zur Kanisalpe fährt. Kurz vor der Kanisalpe zweigt man rechts ab, überquert einen Bergbach und folgt weiter dem Wanderweg zur Roßstellealpe. An der Roßstellealpe fährt man links vorbei und folgt der Schotterstraße zur Wildguntenalpe. Nun beginnt die lange Abfahrt nach Mellau. In Mellau angekommen hält man sich Rechts und folgt dem beschilderten Radweg nach Au. Eine landschaftlich sehr schöne Route.
