Very nice tour, absolutely recommendable up to Lido Degli Estensi. Very varied along the lake. I hardly encountered anyone. Pure nature! Water birds, muskrats... Before Lido, riding over the dikes is really great! Via Valle Umana is not heavily trafficked and you can make good progress. The stretch from Lido Degli Estensi to Casal Borsetti is terrible because you can only ride on the main connecting road! No alternative possible as it's a guarded private area or military zone!!! On the main road, you have to deal with 40-ton trucks and overtaking despite oncoming traffic. If possible, arrange to be picked up from there.
