About This Route

Von Gravedona am Lago di Como zur Rifugio San Jorio.

Fortsetzung nach Giubiasco, von wo man nach Bellinzona bzw. Locarno weiterfahren kann.

Von Gravedona gibt es vier Varianten auf den Passo Jorio. Diese hier zeichnet sich durch wenig Autoverkehr und viel Schatten aus. Gestartet wird im Ortsteil Consiglio di Rumo bei der Wegbezeichnung "Per le montagne". Erst geht es auf einer asphaltierten Straße, später auf einem besfestigten Forstweg bis zum Rifugio Mottafoiada (1340). Ab hier geht es auf einem recht schottrigem Weg bis zum Rifugio San Jorio (2012).
