Seelow 3

A remarkably car-free route with truly beautiful scenery and mostly excellent roads or freshly paved bike paths away from streets.

From Erkner onto side roads, then a short stretch of bike path, later back to road until Fürstenwalde. There, the L38 turned out to be a motor vehicle road, so we continued east (caution: poor asphalt behind Fürstenwalde; better to pass through Fürstenwalde and from there to Steinhöfel) and then over the bike path on the route of the disused Oderbruch railway (caution: quite narrow and occasionally with barriers) until Seelow. A recommended restaurant there: "Hotel Brandenburger Hof", quite close behind the village sign.

The B167 was only lightly trafficked, but mostly blessed with a very good bike path alongside the road.

Behind Reichenberg, you can also turn earlier towards Reichenau... The bike path from Strausberg to Möglin is wonderfully undulating.

End at the U-Bahn station Hönow.
