The route is mainly asphalted. It offers many opportunities to take a small detour to enjoy nature along the Flöha, as it mostly runs alongside the river. The only challenging ascent is from Schellenberg to Augustusburg. Otherwise, the route is not associated with any major efforts. There are not many dining options except at Augustusburg. This route is also ideal for families with children. It passes by many spots that invite swimming and a nice destination is Rost's meadows at Augustusburg with a summer toboggan run and many other recreational offers.
