Die Strecke ist hauptsächlich asphaltiert. Sie bietet viele Möglichkeiten auch mal ein Stückchen abzuzweigen um die Natur an der Flöha zu genießen, da sie meistens am Fluss entlang geht. Die einzige anstrengede Steigung ist die von Schellenberg zur Augustusburg. Ansonsten ist die Strecke mit keinen großen Anstrengungen verbunden. Es gibt nicht viele Einkehrungsmöglichkeiten außer an der Augustusburg. Für Familen mit Kindern ist diese Strecke auch ideal. Sie führt vorbei an vielen Stellen, die zum baden einladen und ein schönes Ziel sind Rost's Wiesen auf der Augustusburg mit Sommerrodelbahn und vielen weiteren Freizeitangeboten.
